Before I Begin... I had successfully completed my first round of Whole30 in April of 2017. Upon completion, I was afraid to veer off of the path I had so carefully navigated for 30 days; trying to make my way through the many twists and turns life threw my way. I didn't want to step outside of the strict Whole30 guidelines in fear I would not only step out, but fall hard into my old habits. Sadly, that is exactly what happened... The rules of Whole30 are simple... For 30 days, I cannot consume: -Added sugar, real or artificial. -Alcohol in any form, not even in cooking. -Grains. -Legumes. -Dairy. -Carrageenan, MSG or sulfites. -Baked goods, junk foods or treats with "approved" ingredients. The last and final rule... I cannot step on the scale or take any body measurements for the full 30 days. I hope this second attempt at Whole30 compliance will prove to be more everlasting as I am opening up my journey to friends, family, supporter
